The Story

The Benito Hernando brothers (Gaspar, Fernando and Javier), the current owners and managers of the winery, took up the baton from their father and have not only been able to maintain it, but with a lot of hard work and effort they have managed to shape Bodegas Briego. More than 77 hectares of vineyards in an enviable setting within the Designation of Origin in Ribera del Duero and a state-of-the-art winery where they continue to develop and produce a wine that combines tradition with new oenological concepts. Their family is very clear that wine is not improvised, but is made by paying special attention to nature together with the effort for a job well done. Since the beginnings they have not stopped progressing so that their wines are recognised for their quality all over the world.
