The Story
A pioneer story : Cave de Fleurie was founded in 1927 and in 1946 Marguerite Chabert was the first woman in France to be elected president of a wine cooperative’s board of directors. Today, Cave de Fleurie has 280 members, and is producing wines from 300 hectares accross 13 appellations : Fleurie, Moulin à Vent, Chiroubles, Chénas, Juliénas, St Amour, Regnié, Morgon, Brouilly, Bourgogne Blanc, Beaujolais Blanc, Beaujolais and Beaujolais- Villages. It is the biggest producer of Fleurie Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée wines.
