The Story

Domaine de l'Ours Bleu is an adventure born of chance encounters and a passion for wine. This project, initially a promise made in jest, took shape thanks to solid human ties and a growing curiosity for the world of wine. The first plots were acquired in 2013, converted to organic farming in 2018, with the first wines available in 2021 after patient ageing. Today, the estate extends over 14 hectares, entirely organically farmed under the direction of Jérôme Baillargeau. Located around Montsoreau, it produces wines from the Saumur, Saumur Champigny and Chinon appellations, with two main grape varieties: Chenin for the whites and Cabernet Franc for the reds.
