The Story

Since 1785, the Rentz family has been running the family vineyard in Zellenberg, in the heart of the Alsatian vineyard. Pioneer of the bottling in 1930, it was one of the first estates to put its name on its bottles. Since 1995, the estate is run by Catherine and her brother Patrick Rentz. It extends on 100 plots of vines on 25 hectares, between 6 villages and on particularly well exposed hillsides. The story of this estate, several hundred years old, is also reflected in their cellar : they are still working with "Foudres", oak tanks, that are over 200 years old.
