The Story
The estate is located at the bottom of the Bourgueil forest : Michel and Joëlle Lorieux settled in Chevrette, close to their grandfather, also a winegrower. The estate is 15 hectares, split between the appellations Bourgueil (8 hectares) and Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil (7 hectares), is certified HVE and in organic conversion. Juggling between the family estate and Clos de l'Abbaye (the Appellation's historic estate), the family business has grown and expanded in terms of vineyards. Jérémy Lorieux, the son, has been working on the estate since 2005 : he is today the 4th generation to take over the estate.
