The Story
Philippe Kubler, Paul's son, is an intensely passionate and incredibly talented winemaker with a top-notch resume and, most importantly, top-notch wines. Beginning with the 2004 vintage, Philippe took over his family’s domaine, carrying on the estate's history that started in 1620. The vineyard is composed of five main soil types: sandstone alluvium, limestone, pink sandstone, avolcia sandstone, limestone sandstone. Grape varieties are selected according to soil type, with the aim of achieving the best expression between grape variety and geological signature. The average age of the vineyard of 10 hectares is over 30 years; planting in high density is between 5,000 and 7,500 vines per hectare.
