The Story

Jérôme Choblet's estates, steeped in the region's winegrowing history, have their origins in the Château de la Sénaigerie, an iconic former winemaking center. Located on the banks of the Acheneau, the château made history by initiating the region's first communal grape harvest. Today, it remains a welcoming place for tastings, blending heritage and excellence. Guided by an international vision, Jérôme Choblet manages Domaine des Herbauges and collaborates with local winemakers to produce wines that express the richness of the Loire Valley terroirs. His commitment to sustainable practices, such as those promoted by Terra Vitis, reflects a constant quest for innovation and respect for the environment. The vineyards, carefully selected and supervised, offer a diversity of wines that sublimate the specificities of this exceptional wine-growing region.
