The story
The estate is situated in Saint Philippe D’aiguilhe on calcareous-clay soils where Gilbert Gourraud produces wines with a dominant Melot variety. Vinification
Total destemming and sorting of the harvest. Before vinification, a cold pre-fermentation maceration is carried out, followed by punching down/pigeage and then about 3 weeks of maceration with temperature control. Aging for 18 months in concrete tanks before bottling.
