The Domaine de Wilfrid Rousse, in Organic Agriculture, is located on the right bank of the Vienne river, west of Chinon. In 1987, the year of the first vintage, the estate had only one hectare in production; then over the years, by taking care to choose the terroirs and to have a harmony in the soils and the exposure of the vines, the number of parcels has increased to 19 hectares.
The story
Clos de la Roche still have the vestiges of the walls that, once upon a time, were surrounded the parcel.
Vinification
Traditional vinification, aged for a few months in "demi-muids" : big oak barrels of 500L.
