Small doors that open and small doors that close” Pequeñas Puertas – small doors – is the name of a new project resulting from the sum of the emotions of VZW and Matías Michelini: our purest interpretation of historical Navarran grape varieties from unique terroirs and landscapes.
Presentation
During the harvest, the temperatures were very mild, and this helped even more to that sanitary state that has impressed us so much. As a negative point, we find a considerable production reduction compared to the previous year.
Vinification
Big selection of garnacha roya in the vineyard, vine by vine, as they are mixed with red garnacha. 100% destemmed, fermentation in a 1000-liter tank, skin contact until the last day of fermentation, punching down manually everyday.
