The Story
Located in the heart of the Bordeaux appellation, Château Lamartine is a family property managed with passion since 1977 by the Gourraud family, wine growers for 3 generations. They produce Bordeaux wines typical of the Castillon region (near Saint Emilion), characterized by their generosity, their intense color and their refined aromas and awarded with numerous prizes and medals. . In 1977, Mr. Gilbert Gourraud acquired Château Lamartine and its 4 hectares of vines, with the aim of expanding the production area of this region with great potential. Since 1990, his son Jérôme took over and passionately manages the family estate called Lamartine, where the famous poet stayed.
