The Story

Located in the heart of the Bordeaux appellation, Château Lamartine is a family property managed with passion since 1977 by the Gourraud family, wine growers for 3 generations. They produce Bordeaux wines typical of the Castillon region (near Saint Emilion), characterized by their generosity, their intense color and their refined aromas and awarded with numerous prizes and medals. . In 1977, Mr. Gilbert Gourraud acquired Château Lamartine and its 4 hectares of vines, with the aim of expanding the production area of ​​this region with great potential. Since 1990, his son Jérôme took over and passionately manages the family estate called Lamartine, where the famous poet stayed.
