The Story

The Mestre/Gasparri Family is among the oldest in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Its members have been cultivating the vines there for several generations and have passed down the vineyard from generation to generation. Monique and Jean-Claude Mestre started the brand in the 60's, and their daughter Corinne joined them in 1988. Today, it is her sons Jules and Louis that in charge of the estate. They have a number of different vineyards many of which have old vines, the oldest being 80 year old Grenache and Mourvèdre vines.
